Evisioner Incorporated ("Evisioner") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy details the privacy practices of Evisioner in connection with your use of the Evisioner corporate, sales and support websites, as well as Evisioner software products and/or services.
Evisioner may collect your personal information in a number of ways, not limited to use of public contact forms, issues logged or emailed to the support site or to Evisioner staff, purchase of an Evisioner product, installation of an Evisioner product, and other routine business interactions initiated by you. Evisioner may also receive about you through other business channels initiated by you or Evisioner, not limited to telephone calls, conferences, webinars, service engagements, and interactions with our sales, marketing and support partners and our resellers. Evisioner does not make sales calls to residences and does not broadcast email individuals without their consent or their acquiescence as part of a business to customer relationship.
Evisioner collects e-mail addresses, names, company names, IP addresses as logged by our sites and products, and may collect other information as needed to provide a product or service or as part of the purchase, activation and registration thereof, or for the operational security and quality of service needs of our business. Our websites and web server-based products use cookies to maintain state as you make use of our sites or products. Cookies set by Evisioner hosted sites and our products are not communicated by us to our partners and are not used by Evisioner to track your activities.
Our sales and support partners provide Evisioner with critical business functions, such as the online purchase and download of the Evisioner software, that require financial or other identifying information. These partners were chosen in part for their quality service and responsible practices. We do not provide information to our partners unless necessary for them to provide you with services, and in those cases the minimum practical amount of information is provided. You should familiarize yourself with our partners respective privacy policies, available from the Evisioner purchase and support sites and Web pages. Our partners' privacy policies are in-effect when you are on their sites receiving service from them and are separate from this privacy policy, regardless of any Evisioner branding. The information collected as part of your purchase of Evisioner software is transmitted over an encrypted protocol for your protection. Evisioner does not store your financial information. We have put security infrastructure and practices in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the personal and organizational information we do store.
When you purchase software or receive a support account you may be provided a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your password and the information it protects. It is your responsibility to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your password.
Please be aware that where customers receiving support services from Evisioner may post comments, questions or other information to a forum, wiki, news group or other shared information space other Evisioner customers, and in some cases non-customers, may see those postings. Any such information must be considered public and we ask you to think carefully before posting.
Evisioner products include features that provide information relevant to support services. When needed Evisioner may request you send this information to aid us in addressing an issue. Any such information you transmit to us will be held strictly confidential, managed on a need to know basis and disposed of appropriately as soon as practical. In addition, Evisioner's products include features to enable us to track installs and usage in a minimal way that allows us to plan for likely support demand. These features may be switched off at your discretion. When enabled, the information collected may include IP address, timestamp, if the user is logged in as admin, or other low sensitivity information. This information is collected solely for internal use and does not include information that would identify an individual. With regard to any single organization such information, where available, is kept in strict confidence as a trade secret; however, in the aggregate Evisioner may publicly use such information to give an impressionistic value indicating total installed base.
The information Evisioner collects about individuals and organizations is an important part of our relationship with our customers and as such is taken seriously. We do not sell customer, prospect, casual website visitor or other business contact information to any parties. In the event Evisioner is acquired by another company, personal and organizational information may be part of the assets transferred to the acquiring party.
Except as provided herein, Evisioner will disclose your personal information without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with the law, subpoena, court order or other legal process; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Evisioner and the partners that enable our customer sales and support functions, and (c) protect the personal safety of the public.
Evisioner's products and websites are not directed to children under the age of 13 and Evisioner assumes all product purchases are made by adults. Evisioner believes that parents should supervise their children's online activities and consider using tools and practices to prevent children from disclosing their information without parental permission.
